Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to Calming Care Services. By accessing our website or engaging our private home care services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding.

1. Nature of Services

Calming Care Services is a licensed Private Home Care Provider in the State of Georgia (License #PHCP044730). We provide a range of services including Personal Care, Companion Care, Dementia Care, Skilled Nursing, and Respite Care. The exact scope, duration, and nature of the services provided will be outlined in a separate, customized written Care Plan and Service Agreement signed by both parties prior to the commencement of care.

2. Eligibility and Assessment

Services are provided based on an initial in-home or virtual assessment. We reserve the right to decline or terminate services if we determine, in our professional judgment, that we cannot safely or adequately meet the prospective client's medical, physical, or behavioral needs in a home setting.

3. Client and Family Responsibilities

To ensure the highest quality of care and the safety of our staff, clients and their families agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete medical histories and daily routines.
  • Maintain a safe, hazard-free home environment for our caregivers.
  • Treat all Calming Care staff with dignity and respect. Harassment or abuse of any kind will result in immediate termination of services.
  • Communicate promptly with our office regarding any schedule changes, hospitalizations, or changes in the client's condition.

4. Payment and Billing

Billing rates, payment schedules, and accepted payment methods will be detailed in your individual Service Agreement. Clients or their designated financial representatives are responsible for the timely payment of all invoices. Failure to remit payment may result in the suspension or termination of care services.

5. Limitation of Liability

While Calming Care Services employs rigorous background checks and training, we cannot guarantee specific health outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by Georgia law, Calming Care Services, its owners, and employees shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or the provision of our services, unless resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct.
